A registered office is a place that is used for sending, receiving and acknowledging all communications and notices as may be addressed to the company. It is essential for companies to get their official address registered with the Registrar of Companies. A company’s registered address could be different from its corporate, administrative, or branch office address, and it has an option to change the registered office address anywhere in India.

During the course of business if the company intends to change the registered office address in order to explore a new place and expand the business, the same can be done by filing a form with the ROC within 30 days from the date of change of registered office.
