However, there are other parameters as well which needs to be checked such as trademarked names and naming guidelines from the Government
Under name application through RUN, four names can be applied as the applicant gets two chances to apply for the name under one SRN which includes two names in each chance.
Under Spice (INC 32) three names can be applied as the applicant gets three chances to apply for the name under one SRN which includes single names in each chance.
If the application gets rejected after applying twice under RUN form and thrice under Spice (INC 32), then a fresh application is required to be filed with fresh fees.
The name application under RUN Form is an online application and can be done directly through MCA portal after logging in to the account, and the MCA fee is also required to be paid instantly. Under Spice INC 32 the normal process of uploading form is used after logging in to the account and even the payment can be made later after generating the pay later challan.
The company name is divided into three parts:

Yes, approval is required from Board of Directors, members of the company, ROC, and the Central Government.
Yes, there are no restrictions on changing name except for a public ltd. Company. However, the selected name should be as per the rules prescribed.
The application to change the name of the company has to be made within 30 days of the consent of members in General Meeting.
Yes, MoA & AoA are required to be altered with the new names.
The new company name becomes effective as soon as a fresh certificate of incorporation is issued.
Yes, the new name can be updated in PAN once the certificate of incorporation with the new name is issued.
Yes, the old name will have to be displayed with the new name for a period of two years from the change of name.
